Kinetica started in 2021 when former college sprinter Imani Okafor and pattern-maker Jae Park got tired of leggings that went sheer at the bottom of a squat. They spent a year developing Sculpt Knit with a mill in Los Angeles and launched with one legging in two colours.
Today we make eight core styles in a studio on East 7th Place, still designed and fit-tested on athletes from our crew: powerlifters, sprinters, yoga teachers and a lot of people who just like to move.
